I’m sorry it has been so long since I last sent out an update; I have been really busy over the last few weeks.
I have just a few things to share with you this time. Recently God has begun to highlight Tel Aviv and the original inheritance of the tribe of Dan to some of the people I am with. The tribe of Dan never took possession of the territory God allotted to them as a tribe. Instead they went north. That may not seem significant, but it means that the place that tribe was to fill was never established. Dan means righteous judgment. So, righteous judgment was never fully established in Israel. If I’ve learned nothing else I have learned this – what happens in Israel affects the rest of the world. The world has been greatly lacking in righteous judges and judgment because of this. God has been highlighting this because He wants to close that open door. People from around Israel are now going to be targeting Tel Aviv with prayer to bring the area into alignment with God’s purposes for it.
If you have been watching any of the news lately you know that things have been a bit stirred up for the last few weeks in parts of Jerusalem. There have been a number of riots in East Jerusalem related to the Temple Mount and people building in the neighborhoods near there. The issue of who can decide what is done in Israel – the U.S., the Palestinians, or the Israeli government – has come to a head again. Pray for the leadership (Netanyahu and his staff) to have wisdom and not fall to the pressure of men. It is important that we continue to stand with Israel in prayer, even if the leadership of our country is not. Several states have recently sent signed documents with leaders to Israel saying that their state is standing with Israel; may God raise up even more states who understand the significance of Israel and stand with them! Just because the government of our nation is going the wrong way doesn’t mean we stop praying and asking for God to intervene. No matter how bad things get God can still turn them around. We need to proclaim the purposes and plans of God over this nation because His purposes and plans don’t change, regardless of what man decides to do.
On a slightly different note, for those of you who don’t already know, I am home for a few months! I really felt God leading me to come home early for a few months. The plan is to return to Israel in June and stay through September. So please be praying for me to have wisdom in all of the decisions that will need to be made over the next few months. I really feel that there is a reason for my being home early, though I certainly don’t know all of His reasons, nor am I currently aware of all of the doors He wants me to walk through. I am looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible while I am home! Feel free to email me about getting together and I will do my best to make it work!
Blessings to all of you and I look forward to giving you hugs in person!
